Binge+ is Tata Play’s 4K Android set-top box — the same live DTH channels as an HD box, plus Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+ Hotstar running on the box itself. A complete connection is ₹3,390 including the dish, cabling and installation. Streaming apps use your own internet connection. We supply Tata Play equipment; internet service is not included. Our team will confirm the TV and OTT pack before booking.

Binge+ needs Wi-Fi reaching the television. The live channels arrive by satellite and work without internet, but the OTT apps, voice search, Chromecast and catch-up TV — everything you are paying the difference for — do not. If the router is at the other end of the house and the signal does not reach the TV, tell us when you book and we will talk through whether Binge+ or the HD box is the better buy for that room.
Both complete setups cost the same — ₹3,390 against ₹3,390, so the question is not price. It is whether you will use what the Android box adds.

Yes. Binge+ 4K is the Android box — there is not a separate "Android connection" product alongside it. If you have been searching for a Tata Play or Tata Sky Android box, Binge+ is what you are looking for.

For the live TV channels, no — those arrive by satellite exactly as on an HD box. For everything that makes Binge+ worth buying, yes: the OTT apps, voice control, Chromecast and catch-up TV all need Wi-Fi reaching the TV. Without internet at the TV you are paying for a 4K box to watch the same channels an HD box would show you.
No. Binge+ works on any TV with an HDMI input and will output at whatever resolution the TV supports. You only see the 4K benefit on a 4K panel with 4K content — but the OTT apps, voice search and catch-up TV are just as useful on a 1080p set.
Around 45 to 60 minutes for a standard setup, a little longer than an HD box because the technician also connects the box to your Wi-Fi and helps you sign in to your OTT accounts before leaving.
Yes. The dish, LNB and cabling are shared across all Tata Play boxes, so upgrading means paying for the Binge+ box and its setup rather than for a whole new installation. If your existing dish is sound, it is reused.
